Goggle's Eeyahdi Release Party

Online, 6:00 PM PDT

Cure-All Records is hosting a Zoom-based CD release party, celebrating the arrival of Eeyahdi from the Goggle Saxophone Quartet, music that is a result of the decades-long friendship among members Chris Jonas, Randy McKean, Dan Plonsey and Cory Wright. The event will feature video premieres, composer commentary, sneak previews of new projects, and an appearance by special guest Mantra Plonsey, the amazing vocalist and tale-spinner on Eeyahdi's epic finale, "Nothing Wrong With Him." Eeyahdi will be available on Bandcamp and other digital platforms on April 16.

Hosted by composer/guitarist David Dvorin, co-founder of Cure-All Records, the event will detail the making of Eeyahdi, through in-depth highlights from each member about their compositions and performances, and through a joint conversation with the group and their guests. Just as this multi-layered collection of music transcends category and creates a uniquely unclassifiable whole, Goggle plans to offer a new take on the release party, with new music videos, composer/performer play-by-plays, and a sneak preview of their latest, ongoing COVID-era collaboration, with a Q&A to follow, moderated by Dvorin.

The event is free and open to the public, but all attendees must RSVP in advance. Click “Register” to RSVP. Attendees will receive an email with the Zoom link and instructions on how to join the party.
